Briefing Note

Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday, 8 September 2022, Dr Raphaël GALEGA GANA, the Vice-Chairperson of the Cameroon Human Rights Commission (CHRC), accompanied by Ms Judith-Espérance Tsémo, Chief of Staff of the Chairperson’s Office and Ms. Mabel Shu Nyamboli, Commonwealth Focal Point of the Commission, presented, on behalf of the CHRC Chairperson and the entire Institution, the official condolences of the CHRC to the United Kingdom High Commission in Cameroon. The Vice-Chairperson also signed the book of condolences opened at the UK High Commission on this sad occasion on Friday, 16 September 2022, after handing over to the UK Deputy High Commissioner, the Institution’s letter of condolence.
