BIKORO Aimé-Parfait was born on 8 December 1960 in Mezesse by Sangmélima. He is a native of the Ntem Valley, is married and has five children.
As regards his school and academic studies up until 1980, he successively obtained the CEPE, the BEPC, the Probatoire A4 and the Baccalauréat A4. He then obtained double degrees, one in Human Sciences and the other in Law, followed by a Master’s degree in Law. In 1985, he obtained the Prison Administrator Diploma and the Certificate of the International Institute for Public Administration in Paris in 1999. In 2005, he obtained the Certificate of the International Institute of Public Administration in Bonn. In 2006, he obtained the Certificate of the Institute of Political Studies and Governance of the University of Beijing. In 2009, he obtained a certificate of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in Addis Ababa, followed in 2010, by the Certificate of the École nationale d’administration in Paris.
On the professional front, between 1987 and 2020, he served as Superintendent of a prison in Guider, Professor at the National School of Penitentiary Administration in Buea, Head of the Unit in charge of sovereign administrations and the strengthening public governance at the Public Affairs Division of the General Secretariat of the Prime Minister’s Office, and Chargé de mission assigned to the same unit from 2005 to 2020. In February 2021, he was appointed a Member of the Cameroon Human Rights Commission (CHRC).
