SENIOR STAFF MEMBERS OF THE CHRC TAKE OATH TO DISCHARGE DUTIES ASSIGNED TO THEM WITH PROBITY AND IMPARTIALITY

Following the Senoir Staff Members of the East, Littoral, Adamawa, North, Far North, North West, West and South West Regional Branches, some 43 Senior Staff Members of the Cameroon Human Rights Commission’s (CHRC), Head Office and the Center Regional Branch have been sworn into duty at the Mfoundi High Court, on Thursday 26 January 2023.
They swore to take up their duties with probity and impartiality as enshrined in law no 014/2019 relating to the creation, organisation and functioning of the Cameroon Human Rights Commission.
Pr James Mouangue Kobila, the Chairperson of the CHRC was represented at the event by the Permanent Secretary of the Institution Mr. Abouem Esseba Jean-Pierre, who accompanied these Human Rights defenders as they swore to Promote and Protect Human Rights as well as to prevent torture more consciously.
