DJIBOMDOM MAMENE Dieudonné
Senior Administrator of Labour and Social Security of exceptional class
Dieudonné Mamene Djibomdom was born on 16 April 1957 in the village of Doumo, situated in the Messaména Sub-Division of the Haut-Nyong Division, in the East Region of Cameroon. He is married and has four children.
Mr Djibomdom obtained the CEPE in 1969 at the Saint-Louis de Gonzague School in Essiengbot, his BEPC in 1976 in Bertoua, his Probatoire D in 1978 in Yaoundé, his Baccalauréat D in 1981 in Yaoundé, his Licence in Economic Sciences at the University of Yaoundé in 1986, and his Advanced Military Preparation Certificate in 1987 in Ngaoundéré. He completed his tertiary education atthe National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM) Yaounde, graduating in 1988. On 14 December 1988, he was formally inducted into the Cameroonian civil service, assuming the role of a first grade Administrator of Labour and Social Security.
Mr Djibomdom attended training courses as follows in occupational health and safety at the African Regional Centre for Labour Administration (CRADAT) in 1993 and 1995, and in project management at the 2006 session organised by the Higher Institute of Public Management in Ngaoundéré. In addition to his role as a legal expert, he serves as a consultant in the field of social law..
In the professional sphere, the following positions of responsibility have been held by him:
– 20 December 1988 to 28 December 1990: 3rd Assistant to the Provincial Labour Inspector of the Centre in Yaoundé
– 28 September 1990 to 27 October 1993: Nyong et Kelle Divisional Labour Inspector in Eséka; – 27 October 1993 to 7 November 1995: 2nd Deputy Provincial Labour Inspector of the North in Garoua
– 7 November 1995 to 27 May 2003: Provincial Labour Inspector of the Littoral n°2 in Douala
– 10 June 2005 to 3 September 2007: Provincial Delegate for Employment and Vocational Training of Adamaoua in Ngaoundéré
– 3 September 2007 to 28 September 2010: Regional Delegate for Employment and Vocational Training of the East Region in Bertoua
– On 16 April 2012: He was eligible for retirement
– From 2nd December 2012 to 11 August 2013: Director of Human Resources at the Lom Pangar Hydroelectric Project
– 24 April 2014: He was appointed Assessor of the Social Division of the Court of Appeal of the East Region in Bertoua
– Since 13 June 2015, he has been Secretary for Legal Affairs at the office of the Union Départementale des Syndicats du Lom et Djérem affiliated to the Confederation of Cameroon Trade Unions (CSTC), a position he held until his appointment on 19 February 2021 as a Member of the Cameroon Human Rights Commission (CHRC).
