The Chairperson of the Cameroon Human Rights Commission (CHRC), paid a courtesy visit to NASERI Paul BEA, the Governor of the Centre Region

Professor James MOUANGUE KOBILA, the Chairperson of the Cameroon Human Rights Commission (CHRC), paid a courtesy visit to NASERI Paul BEA, the Governor of the Centre Region, on Wednesday, 8 February 2023.
He headed a delegation comprising Commissioners BIKORO Aimé Parfait and ASUAGBOR, née AYUK Lucy, respectively Chairpersons of the Sub-Commission on the Protection of Human Rights and the Sub-Commission on the Prevention of Torture in all Detention Places. He was equally accompanied by Mr FÉRIKOUOP MAMOUDA, the Head of the Division of Protection and Promotion, and Mr ESSERY A ZOM Guy Armand, the Cameroon Human Rights Commission’s Centre Branch Head.
Among the items discussed during this courtesy visit were: the presentation of the new National Human Rights Institution, the issue of street children and the problem of violence in schools, as this visit was in the wake of the upcoming Youth Day celebration.
